There are many ways that you can construct a DIY Flexor Billet and the most popular ways is by using a jigsaw, plywood, a soft cloth and glue. To ensure that your board is strong, secure and stable, the first step is to measure the board accurately to establish the length of the span between each individual board, and also the distance between the center of the boards. To determine the span of your board, mark a straight line horizontally on the board with a pencil. This will give a better idea how large your board should be.
To begin your project, you will need to cut the plywood in a way that fits along the long side. Then, use the soft cloth for cleaning any dirt, dust, or debris off the edges. Lay the board horizontally along the longest side. Next, cut it diagonally so it fits against the plywood. You can now attach the board to the plywood using a drywall knife or screws. Depending on how secure you want your board, you might use nails or screw.
Once you have secured the board, you can bend it. Use the drywall knife to secure the board in place. Then, use a hammer and bend the board into a U-shaped shape. To avoid stretching the board, you should start at the far end of your board. You will want to start on one side of the board, and then run the knife across the board to create a crease in the board. Once you have created the U shape, gently run the board backwards along the crease until it aligns with the wall.
